According to paragraphs 31, 32, and 33 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dd. 27.10.2015 No. 878, and to ensure timely and quality service for pensioners of the internal affairs system directly at the place of their residence, following the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dd. 25.09.2018 No. 787 "On organizational and staffing changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs", the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region organized the

The sector organizes and conducts the following work:

- keeping records of pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

- receiving applications from persons who have acquired the right to a pension following the Law "On pensions for persons discharged from military service and some other persons" of 09.04.1992 № 2262 - XII;

- verification of the correctness of the submitted documents for the appointment of pensions, compliance of the information about the person with the data in the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and other documents;

- preparation of information for issuing certificates on the amount of financial support for the recalculation of pensions and the appointment of survivors' pensions to family members;

- receiving applications and documents that give the right to receive certificates of combatants, badges "War veteran - combatant", forms of coupons for the right to receive travel documents (tickets) with a 50 percent discount on their cost and reimbursement of expenses to veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs related to travel for treatment and rest in medical rehabilitation centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, sanatoriums and rest homes;

- acceptance of applications and documents that give the right to receive the certificate "Veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs", "Veteran of Military Service" and badges following the law;

- acceptance of applications and documents for family members of veterans of internal affairs bodies to receive certificates of eligibility for benefits following the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of Veterans of Military Service, Veterans of Internal Affairs Bodies, Veterans of the National Police and Some Other Categories of Persons and Their Social Protection"

- submission to the authorized structural subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of materials on the appointment (recalculation) of pensions to pensioners of internal affairs bodies, persons entitled to receive a survivor's pension, documents that are the basis for receiving benefits, certificates, issuance of certificates of financial support, etc;

- preparation of documents to the Fund for Social Protection of Disabled Persons for payment of compensation for unused vouchers to disabled war veterans;

- issuance of combat participant certificates, "Veteran of Internal Affairs" certificates, badges, and coupon letters to persons who have been granted the appropriate status

- consideration of appeals, applications, and complaints on pension and social security of persons dismissed from IAA and their family members, as well as other correspondence on issues within the competence of the sector.
